What we do (and don’t do) with your information.
The short version
We collect only what we need to do the job you called us for. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not run tracking pixels on this website.
What we collect
- Phone number — when you call us, so we can call you back and schedule the work.
- Name and service address — when you book, so we know where to go and who to ask for.
- Email address — only if you provide it, and only for receipts, reminders, or follow-up related to your service.
- Notes about your property — window count, story height, special instructions — kept in our internal booking notes to give you accurate quotes and a better job.
What this website collects
This website is a static site with no forms, no analytics scripts, and no advertising trackers at time of writing. Our web host (Netlify) automatically logs standard information about visitors (IP address, browser type, page requested) for security and diagnostic purposes; those logs are not linked to your name or contact details.
How we use your information
- To give you an estimate and schedule your service.
- To contact you about your appointment (arrival texts, reschedules, invoices).
- To follow up after service (occasional check-in, seasonal reminders, invoicing).
- To keep basic business records (invoices, service history) as required by tax and business regulations.
Who we share information with
Only the third parties needed to run the business:
- Payment processors (e.g. Venmo, Zelle, or a credit-card processor) — only the transaction details required for payment.
- Phone carrier and messaging services — standard call and SMS handling.
- Website host (Netlify) — hosts this website; sees standard server logs described above.
- Tax preparer / accountant — for annual filings, kept confidential.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing lists.
How long we keep your information
Booking and service records are kept for as long as needed for tax, warranty, and repeat-service purposes (typically 3–7 years). You can ask us to delete records that aren’t required by law any time by calling or emailing.
Cookie policy
This website sets no cookies at all. Not analytics cookies, not advertising cookies, not preference cookies. Nothing is written to your browser’s storage when you visit — no cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no tracking pixels, and no fingerprinting.
That means there is nothing here for you to accept, reject, or manage, which is why you won’t see a cookie banner. We’d rather not ask you to click through a consent box for tracking we don’t do.
What the site loads from elsewhere
Nothing. Every file this website needs — the page itself, the stylesheet, the one small script, the images, and the typeface — is served from meridianwindowcleaning.com. Your browser never contacts another company to display this site, so no third party receives your IP address, and nothing about your visit is shared with anyone.
Beyond that, the site runs one small JavaScript file of our own, which handles menu toggles and scroll animations. It makes no network requests and stores nothing.
Links to other places
Our Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor links are ordinary links — there is no embedded feed, like button, share widget, or tracking script from any of those companies on this site. Nothing is sent to them unless you actually click through, and once you do, that company’s own privacy policy and cookies apply, not ours.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics, an embedded booking tool, or anything else that sets a cookie, we will update this section first and add a consent banner where one is legally required.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to (a) tell you what information we have about you, (b) update or correct it, or (c) delete it (subject to any legal record-keeping requirements). Just call us at (484) 703-8994.
Children
This site and our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business grows. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
